  • Protect your boat and keep it looking tip top shape with detailing services from locally owned ​ Timeless Yacht Sales and Services. We provide preventative maintenace that will help guard and protect your vessel from the effects of damaging UV rays (sun) and salt water.
  • Polishing and waxing your boat adds depth and shine to its paint and increases its durability. Polishing will remove minor imperfections and swirl marks making the top coat look like new.
  • When you take your boat out on the water, you want it to look its very best. Whether you are going out for a day trip or hosting a sundowner on a yacht, dayrunner or houseboat, you deserve to have a boat that is clean and comfortable for you and your guests.
  • If your boat could use a quick wash and hand dry or a complete overhaul, we have a package that will suit your needs.
As a courtesy, we ask that your compartments, cabins and/or lockers are empty to make the cleaning process easier. If this is not done, it can incur additional charges which will be based on the extra time it will take to move items around.

What The Services Include

  • ​Check Docklines and Fenders:  Once daily check to ensure all dock lines and fenders are set to appropriate length and inspect for chafe.  During inclement weather lines and fenders will be checked more frequently.

  • Check Bilges:  Inspect bilges for excessive water, functionality of automatic bilge pumps, and indications of oil or fuel in the bilge.
 
  • Check Electrical Panel: Check battery combiner switches,  bilge pump switch and all other switches on the panel.
 
  • ​Check Interior Fans: Ensure fans are on and circulating air. Empty dehumidifier if needed and one is onboard.
 
  • Exterior Boat Wash: This includes a complete boat brush scrub with boat soap, rinse, and hand dry exterior surfaces including toe rails, steel and glass. Wash focuses on removal of dirt, grime, algae, and bird droppings.
 
  • Check for Insect/Rodents: Check exterior lockers, bilges, heads, fridge and freezer for insects. Spray Raid or similar product to eliminate unwanted pests.
 
  • Light Interior Cleaning and Dusting: ​Wipe down any hard, flat surfaces with warm soapy water and a sponge. Dry with microfiber towel. Using swiffer dusting wand with a light spritz of murphy's oil dusting all hard, flat surfaces. Dry/wet swiffer floors.
 
  • Start Propulsion Engines for 20 minutes: Will start and run engines for 20 minutes. In the event the engines do not start no further attempts to start the engines will be made until owners remedy the situation.
 
  • Start  Generator for 20 minutes: Will start and run the generator for 20 minutes. In the event the generator does not start no further attempts will be made to start the generator until the owners fix the underlying issue.
 
  • Battery Service and Maintenance: Flooded Lead Acid/Open cell batteries have removable vent caps, that need to be checked regularly and if low, add distilled water until it is just over the plates.
 
  • Water Maker Flush for 5 minutes: Start and run water maker for 5 min to flush fresh water through filters when you do not want to pickle your water maker.
 
  • Clean A/C Strainers:  Remove strainer cup and strainer to remove barnacles and algae. Rinse with fresh water. Clean strainer cup housing and any mess made while removing strainers. Bleed lines if necessary to restart the A/C units.
 
  • Exterior Stainless Steel Polish: Rinse and dry stainless steel with microfiber towel. Polish stainless steel with collinite or similar product removing surface rust and tarnish. Buff metal with a microfiber towel to remove excess metal wax and polish.
 
  • Rust Stain Treatment: Treat rust stains with a rust stain remover (Starbright or similar product) directly on surface to be treated. Rinse with fresh water . Apply a 2nd application if needed and use light scrubbing with a soft bristle brush.
 
  • Wash and Dry Enclosure: Rinse enclosure with fresh water. Clean with boat brush and warm soapy water. Rinse with fresh water and hand dry with a microfiber towel.
 
  • Clean and Detail Heads: Use a non-abrasive cleaner such as soft scrub multi-surface cleaner or a similar product. Scrub shower, sinks, toilets. Glass cleaner on mirrors and shower doors. Wipe walls, ceilings and cabinets with vinegar water to clean, disinfect and help combat mold.
 
  • Clean and Detail Galley: Clean and disinfect stove, oven, sinks and counter tops with soft sponge and disinfectant cleaner. Wipe cabinet doors with vinegar water to disinfect and combat mold.
 
  • Hull Cleaning (Dive Service): Regular bottom cleaning will extend the life of your bottom paint while providing you with better fuel efficiency and higher boat speeds. Dive services will be provided by a local dive professional. We will coordinate with the vessel owner and the dive service to match your specific individual needs.
 
  • Clean Bilge: Application of bilge cleaner (Dawn dish washing detergent or West Marine bilge cleaner) ensuring all nooks and crannies are covered. Scrub with soft bristle brush as needed. Rinse, drain and dry.
 
  • Engine Room Clean: Remove globs of grease and grime with paper towels. Application of warm soapy water (Dawn dishwashing liquid), light careful scrub with a sponge. Thoroughly rinse and air dry.
 
  • Interior Headliner Mold Treatment: We use Concrobium Mold Control (or similar product) which effectively eliminates existing mold, prevents re-growth and removes musty odors with no harmful chemicals. For boats with more severe mold issues we apply concrobium mold control with a cold fogger. This is an effective way to eliminate mold in large or inaccessible spaces. The fogger evenly mists the concrobium to saturate the air and evenly coat all surfaces.​
 
  • Interior Wood Treatment: We revive tired and dull wood with Murphy's Oil Soap Spray (or similar product). We remove grime, grease and layers of food that can detract from the woods aesthetics, hiding the brilliance of it's finish and the beauty of the wood's natural grain.
 
  • Canvas Clean: You want to keep your canvas clean and in tip top shape. We thoroughly fresh water rinse your canvas, using a soft bristle brush and boat soap we give the canvas a gentle scrubbing to remove dirt and grime. For mildew and mold removal we use a canvas cleaner (Starbright or similar product) and spot scrub the affected areas with a smaller brush. Thoroughly rinse and air dry.
 
  • Carpet/Rug Shampoo: If you have stubborn stains and/or underlying odors we pretreat carpets/rugs with Bissell Pro Carpet Cleaner (or similar product) before shampooing. After pretreatment we use a Bissell shampooer to shampoo rugs/carpets. Bissell cleaners are non-toxic to humans and pets. 
 
  • Exterior Locker Mold/Mildew Treatment: Mold and mildew spores can be found everywhere, and will become visible mold growth if it goes untreated. On fiberglass mold not only stains, but may pose a health hazard. We treat the lockers with a non-toxic mold remover (concrobium or similar product), scrub if necessary with a soft sponge and thoroughly rinse with fresh water and air dry.
 
  • Pressure Wash Exterior Latches and Fittings: Using a DeWalt 550 PSI power cleaner we pressure spray the dirt and grime from toe rails, latches, fittings and hardware.
 
  • Deck/Cockpit Wax and Polish: If your deck is dull and chalky we can dramatically enrich color and shine. A good wax and polish will remove light oxidation, fine scratches and swirls while protecting surfaces from UV damage. We wash the deck and  cockpit with boat soap removing any loose contaminates, rinse and hand dry.  We apply McGuiar's Premium Marine Wax (or similar product) using an orbital buffer with a foam or terry cloth applicator applying a thin even coat over the surfaces. Buffing and polishing to remove any remaining wax residue restoring the full richness and glossy shine of the surface deck.
 
  • A/C Raw Water System Treatment: Flush the raw water system with Barnacle Buster or similar product. Barnacle Buster is formulated to safely remove marine growth from your entire raw water system from intake to discharge without harming any hoses or equipment.
 
  • Teak Treatment: We spray the teak with fresh water to remove any loose dirt using a sponge we apply Starbright Teak Cleaner and Brightener or similar product. Starbright is safe to use on all teak decks and furniture will not harm fiberglass and contains no dangerous acids. If the teak wood is in disrepair and needs better oil penetration, maybe mildew protection then we apply teak sealer. Marine teak oil rejuvenates the teak to its natural looking beauty.
 
  • Isinglass Cleaning & Protectant: After thoroughly rinsing the glass with fresh water we wipe both sides with a soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt without scratching and hand dry with a microfiber towel. After drying we apply 210 Plastic Cleaner (or similar product0 and polish, buff dry to acquire a bright lustrous finish that leaves a protectant coating.
 
  • Shore Power Cord Cleaning: If your shore power cord has lost its "yellow" glow, we will scrub your cord with warm soapy water (Dawn dish washing liquid) and a scotch bright pad.
 
  • DampRid Bags/Buckets: Strategically place 3 hanging bags or 3 refillable buckets. DampRid's crystals absorb excess moisture in the air to create and maintain the optimal humidity level in your boat.
 
  • Insect Spray/Ant & Roach Motels: We use a combination of multi insect/rodent products to help fight insects and rodents on the boat.

  • Grill Cleaning and Polish: We use grill cleaners to dissolve tough stains and burned on grease. If your grill grates are still dirty after a regular scrubbing session, we will soak them in a mixture of vinegar and baking soda to break down any stuck-on food.
 
  • Provisioning: We will tailor your provisioning package according to your specific individual needs; family size, food allergies, short trip, long trip, etc..
